I’m (jason griffin) working over at a high school in Brooklyn. i’m collaborating with students on a mural full of leaders. Among the famous human beings stands Oprah!!!! Check out our Oprah stencil!

We are the JP McCaskey HS Librarians from Lancaster, PA. One of the faculty members (Darlene Sellers) who is a friend of one of your mothers gave us your book Our Story Our Way to look at. She said you might be willing to come to schools to speak and promote. We (Ms. Allison and Ms. Simatos) are fairly new librarians who are trying to promote literacy in our school by bringing in authors to speak and give presentations. We just recently had Ms. Diana Rodriguez Wallach who writes multicultural YA fiction, which was a huge hit. We are hoping to get someone to come this fall if we can get a grant to have you come.
