Everyone from outta town, especially from New York, who comes to DC always ask the same question, “Man, where do people hang out and chill. Y’know, drink, eat, chill, like we do here, in ‘the city’” For everyone who may be coming to the DC area (since all this inauguration stuff is going on) allow me to shed some light on where you might wanna grab a bite to eat, or here a lecture, or meet some awesome (and I do mean AWESOME) Washingtonians, have I got the place for you!
It’s called Busboys And Poets, the newest (though not so new) hotspot in the nation’s capitol. It’s pretty much the boom in boom shaka laka…and it was named after Langston Hughes!

I *LOVE* Busboys and Poets- damn is that bookstore one of the best I’ve ever been to!
And the food is ridiculous…
Makes me wish I still live in DC.
