So Griffin finally sent me some pics from Amsterdam! Seems like he’s having a blast! Nothing like experiencing other cultures…

Here is Griffin’s breakdown of the pics…

“thump snap thump thump snap tat tat.”

“The first two are shot in amsterdam - the statue is of dutch artist “Rembrandt,” considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time. And, the shoe… oh the shoe.”

“After Amsterdam comes the trip to Den Haag (this is another city in Holland). It is about an hour southwest of Amsterdam by train. A lot of governmental things take place in Den Haag, it’s kind of like DC to us. We’re having our show at a really cool space - I’ll tell you more about that later… ”

“The next image is of Steven standing in front of a mural that him and his buddies painted as a memorial for their late friend who’s tag name was “Musk” I think his real name was Jonathan. He died young at 25 in Thailand - tragic accident. So every year, Steven and his pals create a new wall somewhere for this guy - when I asked Steven to elaborate a little, he said “We do it because nobody else will. You have to take the responsibility of something like this.”

“We saw this mural (of Musk, above) on our way over to this guy Dave’s house - good friend of Stevens and crazy football (the European kind) fan. He’s mad cool - he’s part of Steven’s art crew “los bastardos” and will be contributing to the mural we are installing at the gallery space.”
